ACYMMAC Scholarship 2026
The All Ceylon Young Men’s Muslim Association Conference is primarily a Youth and Youth Serving Community based organization founded on the 30th of April 1950, which is rendering yeoman service to the community for over the last 76 years. The Conference is national in outlook with over 150 Branches spread over the length and breadth of Sri Lanka.
The All Ceylon YMMA Conference, as one of its major projects, this year will grant 300 Scholarships to 300 Students who sat for the G.C.E. O/L exams in 2025 (2026). The scholarship is an 18 months funded program which will commence from the month of January 2027.
Students will be selected among the most deserving and who outperformed at the O/L Examination 2025 (2026) through interviews to be held in Colombo, Kalutara, Kandy, Anuradhapura, Batticaloa and Ampara districts.
Students can apply through our online platform (Google Forms) or by post. The PDF version of the scholarship application, the instruction sheet, and the Google Form link will be available for download on www.ymma.lk, the Y Scholarship WhatsApp Channel, and the All Ceylon YMMA Conference Facebook page starting from 01st September 2026.
1. Eligibility
a) Both Male and Female students who sat for the GCE O/L examination for the year 2025 (2026) held on 17th February 2026.
2. Selection Criteria (Necessary Qualification)
a) For Bio Science and Physical Science Streams:
A minimum of 6 A passes.
b) For Other Streams:
A minimum of 4 A passes is compulsory.
c) The scholarships will be awarded only for students who will be sitting for their A/L examinations as school candidates.
STUDENTS WHO ARE CONSIDERING TO DO THEIR A/L EXAMINATIONS AS PRIVATE CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
3. Additional Information
a) The Scholarship application form must be filled only in English.
b) The final receiving date of the Scholarship application will be 30th September 2026.
c) Certification by the applicant's current school principal is COMPULSORY.
d) Member YMMA certification is COMPULSORY.
e) In case there is no Member YMMA in your area, certification by your area Masjid is COMPULSORY.
f) Row No. 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36 photocopies of the requested documents should be attached.
g) Only applications with the above mentioned certifications will be accepted. Applicants are advised to submit only one application. Duplicate submissions will not be considered.
h) Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their applications through online to ensure a smooth and efficient application process.
